Thirty Days of Juice! Day 1

Join us for the next month for Thirty Days of Juice Recipes, meant to help our juice-fast guests transition home after leaving Creative Health Institute — and designed to generate enthusiasm for healthy juicing.

Carrot Celery Clean Sweep

Makes 1 large or two small glasses

Ingredients:

  • 1 celery stick
  • 11 oz of carrots
  • 5 oz green grapes
  • several large sprigs of parsley
  • celery and/or carrot stick to serve as garnish

Directions:

  1. Using a sharp knife, roughly chop the celery and carrots. Push Half of the celery, carrots and grapes through a juicer, then add the parsley sprigs. Add the remaining celery, carrots and grapes in the same way and juice until thoroughly combined.
  2. Pour into one or two glasses and serve with celery and/or carrot stick stirrers for garnish.

Health Tip: This juice is so packed with goodness, you can almost feel it cleansing and detoxing your body. As well as valuable vitamins, the carrots and grapes provide plenty of natural sweetness, which blends perfectly with the mild pepperiness of the celery and fresh scent of parsley. Drink this juice on a regular basis to give your system a thorough clean-out. Carrots are an excellent source of antioxidant compounds, and the richest vegetable source of the pro-vitamin A carotenes. Carrots’ antioxidant compounds help protect against cardiovascular disease and cancer and also promote good vision, especially night vision.

Thanks for commenting, Elizabeth. I am so glad you loved Raw Chef 1 Advanced!!! It was great to have you here. We hope to have you back for Raw Chef 2 Advanced!

Amy, I think that what you replace the parsley with depends upon your taste. If you like cilantro, try that. Otherwise, maybe a little spinach or lettuce. Thanks for reading.

I read Ann Wigmore’s book, over 20 years ago and have been juicing ever since. Funny, it never goes out of style as long as we are living on planet Earth.

Thanks for the recipes. Add a bit ofr fresh lime juice and it makes ALL juice mixtures sparkle.

    Yours for Wholeness, Hallie
