Energy Exchange

Description of Full Time Energy Exchange Program

Welcome to the Energy Exchange program. Energy Exchange is our work and study program; a student works 8 hours per day, 6 days per week, in exchange for room and board. During your off hours your time is your own, and you are free to enjoy the CHI facilities. This part of our program allows certain individuals to immerse themselves in a living food lifestyle while helping others achieve their wellness.

Most of our regular staff started out as Energy Exchange.

Many of the graduates of our 3-month Certification Program in Advanced Practitioner of Natural Health work their way through as Energy Exchange students. Many of our Advanced Practitioners have started successful home-based businesses as Living Foods Lifestyle Consultants and Practitioners, open Mini-Institutes in their homes, or find pleasant gainful employment in similar centers.

We frequently have several positions available, which include…

Kitchen

Can you bring to the table your chopping skills? Are you handy with a set of knives? We do it all at CHI to bring the taste to a new level. Create everything from a simple smoothie to raw pizza. If you have skills that will enhance a kitchen atmosphere, apply now!

Garden

Do you have that green thumb that makes plants come alive and dance? We start our Super Organic Garden in the month of May and harvest until late Fall. If you have an understanding of soil and love to plant this may be for you. Our land is covered with many wild edibles, even Comfrey.

Office

Bring you office skills to CHI to create a smoother atmosphere. Do you have the knack to answer the phone, use Microsoft Office, and book reservations over the phone? Are you creative and know how to implement systems to enhance what's already here? If so, we have just the spot for you. Come slip into that office chair and get into the limelight, helping to run the ship!

Maintenance

Are you feeling like you're the jack of all trades (and, perhaps, a master of none)? Do you come equipped with paintbrush in hand? Can you put a shelf up on the wall? If you think you have a wide knowledge of workmanship and are not afraid to learn and ask questions…strap on your tool belt and be part of a team striving to serve others!.
